The rain falls down

In soft sheets like

Flim covering you-

You hold my hand

And I see you smile

At me as we stroll-

The air is static and

The rain falls steadily

Lightning courses-

We stop on the bridge

To enjoy the view-

I blush as I see you

Staring at me now-

I wonder what you

Think as you do-

You move to kiss me

In the falling rain-

We melt as lips touch

Our warmth spreading

Over us from our

Mouths on down to

Our bodies pressed

Together in this chill

Storm- with only our

Warmth to save each

Other from the cold-
